Head Coach Wayne Branstetter registers 450th win in Poway’s 60-6 win over Temecula

In a battle of key section wrestling powers, the Titans of Poway improve their record at 2-0 along with a win at the first annual inaugural San Marino Tournament continue their dominance of wrestling in the state of California as they as they registered 5 pins, 3 decisions, 1 major, 2 defaults and 1 technical defeated the Golden Bears of Temecula Valley Valley by a 60-6 score.
Temecula’s winners were Paul Monteforte with a 6-2 overtime win over Celso Silva at 182 and Justin Woodall’s escape with 35 seconds left with a 2-1 win over Nick Klekas.
Congratulations to head coach Wayne Branstetter of Poway High School as he made history by recording his 450th career win.
