Nicholas Sahakian Verbals to Arizona State
The Arizona State recruiting Class of 2025 received a significant commitment from Nicholas Sahakian, a highly ranked California wrestler from St. John Bosco (ss). Sahakian, currently ranked 32nd overall in the Class of 2025, has achieved notable accomplishments in his high school career, including placements in the California state tournament and the UWW U17 World Team Trials. He has also won a Greco title in Fargo and performed well in national competitions.
Arizona State has established itself as a destination for top heavyweight wrestlers, following the success of Tanner Hall and Cohlton Schultz. With two years of eligibility remaining for Schultz, Sahakian’s arrival in Tempe may coincide with Schultz’s potential Olympic redshirt year. Sahakian is the first wrestler from the Class of 2025 to commit to Arizona State, under the leadership of Zeke Jones.
