On Friday Cade Olivas Committed to Arizona State. Olivas is only a freshman but has chosen to follow teammates Anthony and Zahid Valencia. The St. John Bosco wrestler was the CIF state champion at 106 lbs. this past March and also it ranked #1 in the nation by Intermat as well as all the other national publications. Here is Cade in action at this year’s CIF state tournament.

I was just wondering what happened to Cade Olivas and Israel Saavedra this year. It’s like they disappeared off the grid. I couldn’t find articles on either one of them. Thanks.
Saavedra missed weight at Divisionals and Olivias took a year off.
