J Robinson Camps relocates West Coast Intensive Camp to Bakersfield, California

MINNEAPOLIS,  Minn. – J Robinson Intensive Wrestling Camps has announced that it has come to an agreement with California State University, Bakersfield (CSBU) to host its West Coast Intensive Wrestling Camp from July 31 – August 13, 2016.

After more than a decade of holding this camp in Oregon, J Robinson Intensive Camps is excited to bring it to CSBU. The new location is farther south and closer to a large city, allowing easier access for thousands of wrestlers in California and easier flight arrangements for those traveling from other states.

Led by University of Minnesota Head Coach J Robinson, JROB Intensive Camps are the original and #1 Intensive Wrestling Camps in America. Since 1978, the system has trained more than 35,000 wrestlers with a philosophy that focuses on advanced technical instruction, physical preparation, mental toughness, and life skills development. In 2016, 124 former JROB campers from across the country became state champions, and another 370 reached the podium as placewinners.
