Four-time CIF State Champion, Jesse Vasquez has given his commitment to Arizona State University. Vasquez this season completed his senior year and finished as the fourth wrestler in California history to win four CIF State titles. He won his freshman state championship while attending St. John Bosco HS and as a Sophomore, he attended Santiago high school. His junior and senior seasons he competed at Excelsior Charter also in the Southern Section.
Vasquez will join Californians;ย Cade Belshay (Buchanan HS), Cleveland Belton (St. John Bosco HS), ย Navonte Demison (Bakersfield HS), Jacob Good (Clovis HS), Trey Munoz (Trabuco Hills) and Anthony Valencia (St. John Bosco HS) on the Sun Devils’ squad next Fall.

Enough time has passed, and I have finally made a decision that you all have been waiting patiently for! ๐ฅI am proud to announce that I will be officially continuing my academic and athletic career at ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY!!! I am looking forward to becoming a part of the ๐Sun Devils, one of the best college wrestling teams on the West Coast. ๐I truly believe that Coach Zeke Jones wrestling program will align with the goals that I have in the college wrestling world, as well as academic and professional๐๐ฝ.
