Max Wilner Commits to Arizona State

Max Wilner – Fountain Valley HS

Max Wilner from Fountain Valley High School (ss) has committed to wrestle at Arizona State. Wilner will wrestle this season as a junior at 170 pounds. Last season Wilner placed 3rd at the CIF State Championships in Bakersfield, California. Preseason rankings have Wilner within the top 25 in all of the national publications. Max will also join Richard Figueroa from Selma High School as Arizona State Sun Devils in the Fall of 2021.

I’ve heard my whole life that pictures are worth a thousand words, but this specific picture is worth many more. First off, i’d like to thank my coaches, family, and my close circle for pushing me to be the better version of myself everyday. I’ve wanted this since a kid and it’s crazy to think that i’ll be attending college in two years. I’m super stoked to announce I will be attending Arizona State University under Zeke Jones to pursue my national titles and academics. 🔱🦍 #ForksUp
