What is LW?
Their ranking last week.
The 8th seed at 120 Szanto beat tino the 7th seed last year at the windsor tournament, and I am hearing he has improved a lot since last year.
Jeremy Szanto the 8th seed for 120 beat Tino at the Windsor tournament last year
Joshua Casqueira is a senior, not a junior =)
I see your current ranking for 285 and you mention Nick Toro of Livermore Valley Charter Prep as someone Issacs lost to this year at Lou Bronzan. By the way Issacs didn’t score a point on him the entire match and Toro won 2-0. For the record Nick Toro only lost in NCS is to your 2nd ranked kid. He has a record of 20-4 this year and went to NCS last year where he went 2-2. The fact that he doesn’t even get considered for ranking is a joke. He moved here from NJ last year where he wrestled for a program that currently won the state championship. He happens to wrestle for a school that is a 2 year young wrestling program and for that he gets no respect?
See you at NCS!
BTW – you ranked Jones over Toro because he took 3rd at the Tri Valley Cup but Toro took 2nd.
Who is doing the ranking of these kids? You have kids ranked that aren’t wrestling this year. How do you rank a kid that is out hurt or has decided not to wrestle this year? You have to do your homework before you post these things.
This website actually took my rankings that I wrote and posted on Californiawrestler.com, without my commentary, and post those rankings here. I am just now discovering this. I explain in the commentary in the original rankings why I was ranking the two heavyweight wrestlers even though they had not stepped on he mat as of yet (one was recovering from a football injury and the other was waiting for full football season to end). Without that commentary, your questions are well posed. But with the commentary, the answers to your questions are evident.
Although I don’t really have a problem with other websites borrowing my rankings (as it increases general appreciation of NCS wrestling) it would be nice to know about it ahead of time and to have the full rankings with the commentary added so the rankings make more sense.
Thank you for the clarification. I agree without the commentary the rankings don’t make sense. I just saw your latest ranking with commentary and although I don’t fully agree with it, you at least have kids ranked that are wrestling. If I count the top (8) kids in NCS based on the state rankings then you missed a kid. However, I’m sure he will do his talking on the mat like he has all year. Thanks again for responding..
285 have kids ranked that haven’t wrestled in 2 years and kids that did well in the NCS last year not ranked.
please update rankings
Andrew Widdoes of Fortuna is 23-6, beat a previous ranked westler at 138 and beat David Poston, another rankedwrestler at 145. He just won the Eureka tournament. This wrestler should be ranked.
Weight classes seem to be a little off here.
