Poway Titans take CIF Division II Wrestling Title

San Pasqual HIgh School-Escondido, CA-As always the Poway Titans are known for their tradition of good wrestling who have excelled as CIF State Champions then moving on and wrestling in colleges all around the United States.  Once again in the CIF  Division 2 Wrestling Tournament the Titans again set their outstanding program under John Meyers guiding the Poway Matman to 13 wrestlers in the finals and came out with 9 champions

John Meyers Poway Head Wrestling Coach:  “When you leave a tournament I wasn’t too satisfied on some of the matches that we had dropped in the championship round along with doing some things that weren’t good it’s back to the drawing board.”  “Our wrestlers that won for the most part were the hardest working guys that I’ve coached as they are fixing their mistakes some of the guys that lost in the finals need to work on developing their skills more which shows up when they wrestle.”
