Poway Wins 2016 Tournament of Champions

More than sixty teams competed at the Tournament of Champions at Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA Thursday and Friday. Poway ran away with the tournament taking first place over Yucaipa by over 224.5 points. Two Poway wrestlers were named Most Outstanding of the tournament. Poway crowned six Champions including Jacob Allen, Chase Zollmann, Scotty Kiyono, Domonic Mata, Quentin Hovis, and Nathan Tausch. Poway had four runner – ups and nine additional placers. The Poway B team placed 9th.
