Shayne Tucker Signs with Oklahoma

Three-time Sac-Joaquin Section Masters wrestling champion Shayne Tucker of Bella Vista has signed a national letter of intent with the University of Oklahoma. As a senior, Tucker (43-4) won the Sac-Joaquin Section’s 152-pound Masters title and finished as runner-up in the CIF state final. He also won a Masters title and placed second in the state at 138 pounds as a junior. He was a 130-pound Masters champion and fourth place state finisher as a sophomore. Oklahoma, which has won seven NCAA men’s wrestling titles, went 7-11 overall and 3-3 in the Big 12 Conference last season.
