11. 2014-15 Season Outlook

The returning Cif Champions are led by Cif champion Christian Mesa and hope to have another Cif championship, another top 20 finish in state, a top 3 finish in masters, and to have their first state champion and 2 additional state placers. After losing 6 starting seniors last year it will be a challenge, they also cycled into a new Cif and will have to beat Northview to take another Cif title. They will have 7 returning varsity wrestlers (4 seniors), a transfer(Allen, Carter h.s), and 3 freshmen starters.  With half the team being new wrestlers, it will be interesting seeing what the team will grow into as the season goes on, and how they will perform together as a half new team. It’s going to be a great season!
